FBLA State Conference

FBLA went to the state conference in Spokane April 16-19.The participants were: Amirah Parker, Erin Taylor, Meagan Hillier, Karen Muller, Crystal Dillon, Wendy Ellis, David Langenhennig, Amanda Carss, Angela French, Jill Stahl, Jenny Bell, and Michael Oeschner. The advisors for FBLA are Zoe Vandegrift and Deanna Borseth. Michael Oeschner took 3rd place in the Job Description Manuel catagory.

Knowledge Bowl

On March 22, the Knowledge Bowl team got 6th place in state. The participants were Jeff Granger, Joe Clinton, Todd Mittge, Joey Grant, Grant Granger and Doug Turnbull. The coaches were Kim Broderick and Susan Fairhead. Centralia got 15th place.

Babies

Mrs. Howard had a boy named Connor Allan Howard on April 15; he weighed 8lbs, 8oz.

Mrs. Cope had a girl named Morgan Adele Cope in February.

Mr. Touhey's wife had Sean Patrick Touhey on March 3; he weighed 8lbs, 2oz. Mr. Touhey said, "I aspire for him to be a professional golfer."

Mr. Adams' wife had Brenden Joseph Adams on March 4; he weighed 7lbs, 5oz.

SWW Band Contest

On April 19, the W.F. West Concert Band and Wind Ensamble went to the SWW Band Contest.

Both Concert Band and Wind Ensemble received superiors for their performances.

State Solo Contest

On April 26, Erik Anderson, Mike Fink, Leslie Beckman, and David Maul participated in the Washington State Solo Contest in Ellensburg.

Northwest Wind Symphony

The Northwest Wind Symphony will be performing at North Thurston High School on May 10 at 7:30.

Spring Choral Concert

The Spring Choral Concert is on May 22nd at 7:30 in the Commons.

No School

On May 26th, there is no school in observance of Memorial Day.

Spring Concert

The Spring Band Concert is on May 29th at 7:30 in the Commons.
