The most common reason for a mail program crashing in the middle of
a download is that the message has an attachment that is too long. Recently
over the last few months more and more people are beginning to send large
files over the internet via e-mail.
This was never the purpose of e-mail and many e-mail servers were not
designed to handle such large attachments. The result of this is sometimes
e-mail attachments become corrupted making them impossible to collect.
The best solution to this problem is to give us a call at Local Access
(330-5535) with your username and password handy and we can clear the offending
file from the mailbox and you can be on your way.
