We publish a newsletter at St. Joseph and St. Mary each month during the school year.  Following are some of the articles from the newsletter published in January

From Our Pastor:
During this month we celebrate the feast of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, the feast of the Epiphany, and the Baptism of the Lord. We seek God's blessing as did Mary. Because of her Son, we can confidently call God, "Abba! "Jesus is "Gods chosen One". We sing joyfully: in him we become children of God. All nations are invited to sing the Lord's praises for they have been called to hear the Good News and worship the long awaited Messiah and King with the gift of their lives. If we claim to follow Jesus, our love must not be merely a matter of words but show itself in action. Thus, do we truly serve the Lord.
This month as we begin a New Year, take time to look at your relationship with Jesus. Do you show others by your actions, words and deeds that you are truly devoted to Him? Can others tell by what you say and do that you are a Catholic Christian? Are you truly kind and caring of others as Jesus was? Do you look to see what the other side of an issue may be, before judging others? Do you show love for others as He has asked?  Maybe your resolutions should include the answers to these questions?

Sincerely, yours in Christ,

Fr. Tuan Nguyen, pastor
