This term is used when there is a legitimate marriage of two people who were canonically free to marry, but married outside the church, and now wish to have their marriage blessed by the church. The process is quite similar to the process for Remarriage. Documentation needs to be provided and certain forms need to be completed. Preparation is required by the Church before any major sacrament. This series of classes focus on the sacrament itself, the spirituality in marriage, and preparing the marriage ceremony.
