UPDATES!!!

05/05/02
Whoa! It's been a while! The line of communication is a very important thing, and without it, things like this happen. But I think things are back on track again. We are completely updated, and with a new look...Hope you all like it. I have a Page Stats account to see what everyone who views this site is running as far as Web Browsers, Operating Systems, etc. (All the boring tech stuff). But I'm pleased to anounce that most of you are pretty close to up to date with technology. Most of you have Macromedia Flash, most are running Windows 2000, most are viewing in 32bit color. You may see an alternative Flash site as my skills grow in the near future. If you didn't understand anthing I just said, don't worry, I was just talking about adding some cool animations.

I think I got most everything back up to date. The links are all updated, finally. We're still working on bringing in more photo's, a layout of the park, and the mailing list working. Please email any web related questions or contributions to nate@miersdesign.com, and any park/community related questions to skatepark@localaccess.com.

Summer has been busy. Even though you couldn't tell by our website. (I'm sorry guys.) The Twin City Skate Park Club unveiled their sign in the Rotary / Riverside Park on October 11th. Over 200 community individuals attended to participate in raffle drawings and root beer floats.
Donations were received from Little Tricky, NW Sports Outlet, Paperback Plus and the Skate Key. The Youth were very pleased with the prizes that were donated. Burgerville, Dairy Queen, Fullers, Safeway, and L&E Bottling donated root beer float fixings. Thanks Guys! Major Tim Browning and City Manager Dave Campbell spoke and welcomed the project on behalf of both Centralia and Chehalis City Governments.

On a side note we have been contacted by OSIRIS Shoe Company in regards to scheduling the pro-team for 2002. Nothing has been scheduled to date.

Much is being done as you read. Most every page (minus photo's) is up and running, so go check it out if you haven't already. Calendar has been updated. Links have been added to companies who are helping us build and design the park, as well as WASHINGTON SKATE PARK DIRECTORY on the BBBlinks page. Hope you enjoy. Things are finally rolling around here.

Added some links to the links pages, added meeting minutes pages. If anyone knows of some good links, go to the BBBlinks page and submit a link. Be back soon to do some more updating to the DESIGN, and MAILING LIST pages as soon as we get some printing out of the way.

Came back and fixed all the links (I think). If any one has any problems surfing around our site, please email me and I will have it fixed asap. Thanks. Oh, the earthquake was today...another good reason why we're not going to build a complete cement park. Cracks are not safe obstacles.
