TEACHER BIOGRAPHY
I began lessons at age 8 and accompanied many groups through Junior High
and High School. I received an AA from Centralia college and later studied music
at both Centralia and Central Washington University. I've played for congregational
singing, choirs/contatas, and soloists at my church for almost 30 years, plus
weddings and funerals, directed children's choirs/musicals, and sang in many
choirs and ensembles.
PERSONAL STATEMENT: I have homeschooled my three children for 16 years which I believe gives me special insight into how children learn (and plenty of patience to teach!). After teaching my own children piano and contemplating what to pursue after my children were educated, I felt led to open my own studio where I can continue to teach children in an area that has brought so much delight and fulfillment in my own life.
