What is Spiritual Regression?
Spiritual Regression is an advanced form of Regression Therapy which focuses on
your experiences in the spiritual world between physical incarnations. Spiritual Regression differs from the
more well-known Past Life Regression Therapy in two significant ways: the depth
of hypnosis required, and the focus of investigation and type of information
received.
The depth of the hypnotic state required for effective
Spiritual Regression is much deeper than that required for Past Life Regression
Therapy. In Past Life Regression, the client and therapist are working
primarily with the memories and experiences available to the subconscious
mind. These memories and experiences can be accessed when the client is in
a deep Alpha state. The traditional focus
of Past Life Regression is to observe and participate in previous life experiences in
order to understand the mental and emotional patterns formed as a result of those
experiences, and how those patterns are negatively affecting the client's current
lifetime. The information available to the client from his
subconscious mind includes all the experiences from his current and all previous lifetimes --
each action taken, word spoken and thought formed.
However, in order to witness and understand the
experiences of the soul while it is still in the spiritual realms or dimensions,
a very deep level of hypnosis is required. It is not enough to merely be
able to enter the deep Alpha state of hypnosis for communication with the
subconscious mind. The therapist must be able to take the client into the
deep Theta state for access to the superconscious mind, which some call the soul.
In this state, the client has access to all the beautiful memories and knowledge
of his or her soul from a much broader and enlightened life perspective.
This broader perspective includes all the experiences of the soul both while
incarnated and while still in the spiritual world between incarnations.
What Will You Learn?
Information available to the superconscious mind or
soul includes all the information available to the subconscious mind, as well as
an understanding of the purpose for each incarnation of the soul, the agreements
made by specific souls for helping one another to learn certain lessons, and to
observe inter-personal dynamics from a spiritual perspective. The amount
and type of information available to each client depends on, among other things,
the level of advancement of that client's soul and the degree to which receiving
such information would be in their highest and best interests at that time.
Additional information available to the superconscious
mind, but not to the subconscious mind, includes your spiritual name and
appearance, the name and appearance of your spiritual guide, the beings in your
particular soul group with whom you frequently incarnate as close relatives or
friends, the energy characteristics and forms of beings in the spiritual world,
the activities that souls participate in while in the spiritual world, and your
chosen purpose or lesson to learn for each incarnation. In addition to
understanding the information available in the spiritual realm, the hypnotized
client is also able to observe the activities and feel the deep emotional
feelings of love, mutual respect and compassion which pervade the entire
spiritual dimension.
What Can You Expect?
Each Spiritual Regression session will last about three
hours. It always begins with a detailed initial interview. The
hypnotherapist will want to know what information you are seeking, and what
experiences have led you to Spiritual Regression.
After the interview, you will be asked to remove your
shoes and lie down on a comfortable healing table. You will then be given
several suggestions which will allow you to quickly and safely relax into a
comfortable and very deep state of hypnosis. Once the therapist has
determined that you are deeply hypnotized, he can then converse directly with
your subconscious mind, and can begin bringing you into the even deeper state
where your awareness or consciousness becomes a part of your superconscious
mind. Even though deeply hypnotized, you will still be able to hear and
understand the therapist quite clearly, and respond to any questions he may ask.
While in this extremely heightened state of awareness,
assuming that it is in your best interests at that time to receive the
information you are seeking, you will be able to safely and painlessly
experience your most recent past life, your transition (death) at the end of
that lifetime, move back into the spiritual world from which your soul
incarnated, meet the other spiritual beings in your soul group, and become aware
of the decisions, choices, and agreements your soul has made for your current
lifetime before incarnating.
When the examination of this most recent part of your
soul record is completed, the therapist will gently bring you back to full
conscious awareness. You will feel very refreshed and fully alert, and you
and the therapist can then discuss the details of your new information, as well
as their implications for your life. You will be provided a 90-minute tape
of the portion of your session which deals with the spiritual world.
Following a Spiritual Regression session, you will be
able to consciously remember your entire journey into the spiritual world,
including the information received and the sensations and feelings experienced
there. This information is usually so profound that you will want to
expand your concept of reality so that you can include these new experiences as
an integral part of your new Truth.
