Energy-Based Healing
Energy-Based Healing is a form of therapy in which the practitioner taps into the healing energy of the Universal Energy Field and becomes a conduit for that energy, allowing it to flow into the body of the client to aid the client’s physical healing.
There are several different healing techniques which are called energy healing. Among these are Healing Touch, Reiki, Polarity Therapy, Bioenergy, Sakara, and many others. The common characteristic among these healing techniques is that the healer manipulates one or more of the client’s own energy fields or patterns to restore proper balance and harmony on many levels to promote physical healing. The scientific community is recently coming to recognize that physical matter in all living things is composed of several energy fields. In humans, the combination of energy patterns is usually referred to as the aura. Modern sensitive instruments are now able to detect these overlapping energy patterns. There are separate and distinctive energy patterns which determine our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual makeup. Each person’s own combination of vibrational patterns is unique, and makes that person as individual a fingerprint.
In a healthy body, the original and natural pattern of each energy body results in a harmonious, continuous vibration and an even flow of energy among all levels of the auric field. When a person is unhealthy, it will show in his energy patterns as an unbalanced flow of energy, or as stagnated energy that does not flow smoothly.
Holistic Healing.
Traditional medical treatments focus on the physical body in an effort to eliminate disease and disease symptoms. Holistic healing recognizes that each person is affected not only by physical symptoms, but also by emotional and mental patterns; how we feel and think about ourself and others strongly affects our physical health. If these aspects are not considered, then the disease and its symptoms can only be partially addressed and with little guarantee that the disease will not recur.Although some medicines can effectively control disease symptoms and modern surgical techniques are truly amazing in their results, traditional medical approaches to pain and chronic disease management are often ineffective. Many drugs merely treat disease symptoms by covering them up until the body’s natural defenses can restore health. Side effects, drug interactions, and disease recurrence are also of concern, and are not well understood. True healing comes about when the cause of the disease is permanently removed.
In order to completely restore health, a holistic healer must be able to correct not only the physical symptoms, but also be able to repattern the higher energy bodies of a person’s aura where the original cause of the disease is often located.
More than one healer may be required to address the different energy layers of a person’s total being. For example, a surgeon may be required to remove a life-threatening physical condition; this will "buy time" for the client to embark on a longer term program that includes repatterning the etheric, emotional, mental and spiritual energy bodies to restore the natural pattern of health on all energy levels. Other lifestyle changes such as diet, exercise and natural remedies may also be needed to begin living a healthy life of disease prevention rather than disease removal.Integrative Therapies. Energy-Based healing techniques are very effective complementary tools to traditional medical techniques. When energy-based healing techniques are integrated with traditional medical treatments (drugs and surgery), the strongest possible therapy is available for treating and permanently healing diseases, and relieving disease symptoms such as pain. The energy-based healer can assist both the physician and the client by (1) giving a broader view of the causative factors involved in many illnesses; (2) providing information that cannot be obtained through the present standard methods; and (3) providing laying on of hands to balance the client's energy system, to enhance and stimulate the client's autoimmune system, and to significantly accelerate the healing process within the individual.
Healing Is An Art, Not A Science. Two people with the same disease may manifest different symptoms. Alternatively, two people with the same symptoms may have different diseases caused by different underlying factors. Therefore, the energy healer must be intuitive and flexible in order to assist the client in completely releasing both the physical disease and also the underlying causes of the disease. He must have ready access to a wide variety of healing techniques to address the specific needs of each client, and these techniques must be capable of addressing not only the physical body, but also the several energy bodies of the client.
Healing Is A Partnership. Unlike medical treatments where the patient may be required to rely solely on the doctor’s knowledge and skills, energy healing involves the client in a very direct way. As each of us begins to recognize that we must take responsibility for our own health, we begin to ask questions and get directly involved in our own healing process. We want to understand what healing techniques are used and why. And we want to begin to understand how they work and how they restore health.
During an energy-based healing session, the healer functions as a channel for universal healing energies, and directs these energies to the client’s physical and higher energy bodies. However, the healing is done by the client’s own body. The purpose of the healer is to ensure that sufficient healing energy is made available to the client in the right places on the right levels to accelerate the healing process.
The client must also consciously want to be healed for it to be effective; healing energies are usually rejected by hypochondriacs. And finally, the client must accept the healing energies on a subconscious level as well. The client’s Higher Self is always in charge of accepting or rejecting any healing energies, based on the highest good for that individual at that time.
Permanent Healing. If a disease is addressed without also removing the cause of the disease (usually found in the higher energy bodies), the disease could recur. Therefore, a permanent physical healing may not occur in all cases. When this happens, other forms of therapy, such as Ro-Hun or hypnotherapy, may be appropriate to discover and address the underlying cause of the disease. Once the cause of the disease is understood and released, the disease and its symptoms disappear.
