IntroductionDuring my lifetime I've had the opportunity to visit many interesting and exotic places. I've come to realize that the more I travel the stronger the urge becomes inside of me to see and experience even more. I think that's why I drifted into the study of International Business at the UW. By earning my degree I hoped to someday land a job through which I could continue traveling the world and see what it has to offer. Most recently I participated in a program called Semester At Sea, hosted by the University of Pittsburgh. The program gave me the chance to visit many countries that I was interested in and allowed me to see new cultures as a student rather than as a tourist. After having completed my Semester At Sea I realized that many of the things that I had seen and learned were very difficult to describe to the people that I returned home to. So in an effort to at least partially convey some of my experiences while being abroad the concept of this website was born. I hope that by sharing what I have learned others may benefit and that their interests might be sparked to go and visit a far off exotic land for themselves.
