Healing Touch in the Home (HTH) is a program that teaches all caregivers, including Moms and Pops, how to use specific non-drug physical touch techniques to safely and effectively address the most important health and wellness issues:
    - Rapid and Effective Traumatic and Chronic Pain Management
    - Rapid Release of Stress and Anxiety
    - Significant Acceleration of Healing after Injury or Operations
    - Gentle and Supportive End-of-Life Care

Healing Touch in the Home can be taught to and used by nearly everyone.  It is designed primarily for use by Moms and Pops with their children, partners, parents, etc. whenever a family member or friend injures themselves, is in physical pain, or needs to accelerate their own healing process to quickly return to a healthy condition.

Healing Touch in the Home is an introductory program within Healing Touch that is open to the public.  It teaches several basic healing techniques that have consistently been proven safe and effective for all ages from newborn to the elderly.  And since all HTH techniques are drug-free and are non-invasive, there cannot be any chance of troublesome drug interactions or adverse side effects.  In fact, the only side effects are positive: quick pain relief, accelerated healing, and returning to health quicker with less medication.  The healing techniques taught in HTH can be used at home to easily and quickly remove the pain when your child scrapes their knee, when you burn yourself on a hot pan in the kitchen, when you pull a muscle, have a headache, injure a joint, want to relieve arthritis, and many other every-day situations. 

Healing Touch in the Home was developed from and incorporates the nine healing techniques taught in formal Healing Touch workshops.  Healing Touch in the Home does not require detailed pain or anxiety assessments, session documentation forms, policies and procedures, Training Plans, and other documentation that would normally be required for use in a commercial health care facility such as a hospital, trauma center or nursing home.  With HTH, the training can concentrate on the practical day-to-day uses of these very helpful and easy-to-learn techniques.

Healing Touch in the Home classes are open to the public and are taught by a local resident of your community who has been trained in the Healing Touch techniques.  This ensures that the HTH Teacher is qualified to teach basic HT techniques, and can also remain accessible after the training to answer any questions you may have.  

The Healing Touch in the Home program is taught at Evergreen Healing Arts Center in Chehalis, WA in three levels:
        Level I      Pain Management techniques for traumatic & chronic pain release (2 hours)
        Level II    Stress and Anxiety Release techniques for relaxation & headache relief (2 hours)
        Level III   Techniques to accelerate the healing process after injury or operations (4 hours)

At Evergreen Healing Arts Center, Healing Touch in the Home classes are scheduled for interested people within the local Chehalis, WA area whenever required.  For those outside the local Chehalis, WA area, two CDs are currently offered:

         Healing Touch in the Home --  this CD is not copyrighted and may be copied and distributed to others.  The CD clearly explains what HTH is all about, and what training you would receive when you register for HTH classes.  The CD contains a narrated PowerPoint presentation for Windows- PC (you don’t have to have PowerPoint installed on your computer).  Cost of the "Healing Touch in the Home" CD is USD $10   Contents of the CD include:

        - An overview of the HTH and Healing Touch programs
        - Benefits of using HTH techniques to help heal yourself and others
        - A description of each of the nine healing techniques you will be taught
        - A discussion of when each technique is appropriate, and when it isn't
        - How to contact an HTH Teacher in your local area and register for classes
        - Suggested books to read about HTH and Healing Touch
        - Suggested internet sources for further information
        - And more!

        For HTH Teachers -- this CD is copyrighted and may NOT be copied and distributed to others.  The CD contains a narrated PowerPoint presentation that provides suggested slides that can be used to teach HTH to your students, as well as handouts describing each technique taught, as well as other associated information that can be used for your HTH class.  IMPORTANT:  A copy of your certificate of attendance at a Level 4 or above CCHT/HTP-sponsored workshop must be mailed to the below address to authorize shipping.  This ensures that those teaching HTH to others are fully and formally trained in the use of the basic HT techniques taught in the HTH program.  Cost of the "For HTH Teachers" CD is USD $15.
